The fan tracery of the roof can be clearly seen here.

Bosses on the ceiling of the Cloisters display the arms of individuals who donated money to the construction and decoration of the Cathedral. These decorations were mostly put in place during the fifteenth century.

The low stone bench, just above floor level, on the right of the picture is where the monks would originally have sat and worked.
