Conwy Castle.
A. The photograph of Telford's
suspension bridge was taken from the top of this tower. The spiral stone steps are well worn in places and,
of course, there is no electric light. It is advisable to stop for a short time to let your eyes become accustomed to the lower light levels, where
appropriate, in order to see where the steps are.

It is possible to climb most of the towers, if not all.
We had a light lunch in the town at the Pen-y-Bryn tea rooms which is recommended by Egon Ronay and now that we can also recommend it it
must appear irresistable.
