Dovedale, Ashbourne.
These are the famous, and popular, stepping stones in Dovedale. They can be covered by the river in times of flood but in normal conditions, as seen here, the worst that can happen to you if you miss your footing is that your feet may get seriously wet.

The Tissington Spires are a group of rock formations about one mile from the stepping stones.

Dove Holes are two large caves that extend just a short way into the limestone but their appearance is very impressive.
