All parking in Ely was free but it has, or is going to be, changed and for that I give Ely (East Cambridge District Council) a
black mark.
NOTE: As at August 2007 parking is still free.
Car parks in the centre of the city will be more expensive than car parks on the edge. There is also a
Park & Ride car park in Angel Drove, near the railway station, for which you will also have to pay. The
proposed charges are 50p per hour or £5.00 per day in the centre and 40p per hour or £2.50 per
day on the edge and £1.50 per day for the park and ride which includes free bus travel to and from the
city centre.

This plan was kindly provided by East Cambridgeshire District Council.
