Braintree.
'Old Court' in Bradford Street is now used as a guesthouse. The frame of the building dates from the 17th century but the cartway, on the right-hand side of the building, features work from the 16th century.

This little green cottage, in Bradford Street, is fairly recent but the timbers on the end wall are all that remain of the now demolished Swan Inn. Note the front and rear jettied construction of the frame.

Dragon House - a colour-washed and rendered timber-framed house, built in the first half of the 16th century, in Bradford Street. The opening on the left is a 'cartway'.

This early 16th century building in Bradford Street used to be a museum known as the Tudor House Museum but is now a private house.
