Giant Horsetail (Equisetum telmateia) growing along the banks of the Tippa Burn. It likes
damp shady areas so there is quite a lot of it here.
The Tippa Burn is shown on the location map (link above) and starts under the "k" of "Jack's Hill".

This is a very common fungus but is not edible.
