Piccadilly Circus is a famous road junction and public space of London's West End in the City of Westminster, built in 1819 to connect Regent Street with the major shopping street of Piccadilly.

Piccadilly runs south-west from Piccadilly Circus to Hyde Park Corner.

St. James's Church, Piccadilly, is one of Sir Christopher Wren's London churches and was built in 1684. The church was severely damaged by bombing during World War II but has since been restored.

A little south of Piccadilly and running parallel with it is Pall Mall. The Royal Opera Arcade consists of a covered walk some twelve feet wide, parallel with the Haymarket and extending between Pall Mall and Charles II Street.

The Royal Opera Arcade was completed in 1818 and is the world's oldest existing shopping arcade.
