This church dates from around 1000 AD, which makes it Anglo-Saxon, but has been much altered, starting with the Normans, since. The rather interesting font dates from the early 12th Century.

Just beyond the churchyard is this 16th Century manor house and garden which is open to the public at certain times.

This barn forms part of the site museum with an exhibition showing the archaeological story of Avebury including finds from the site.

There is also a small cafeteria nearby providing drinks and light lunches.
