There are a number of car parks in Castleton and there is also free roadside parking in some places.

The main and largest car park is off of Cross Street and is marked on the location map (link above). You have to pay for it of course and it appears to be part of Derbyshire County Council's 'squeeze the visitor until they squeak' campaign. The charge for the first hour was £1.00 in 2005 and the other car parks run by Derbyshire County Council charge similar prices.

Next door to the main car park you can get 'all day' parking for £2.00. A much better bargain.

There are various places where parking is permitted at the roadside and that is free if you can find a space.
