Hartington (4), Derbyshire Peak District, England

The intrepid Amanda makes her way over the stepping stones to where I am on Gipsy Bank and, no, she didn't fall off.
You can see, top left, a part of the bridge which yours truly used, of course, to get across the River Dove.
We both then climbed to the top of the bank to look at the view. This same path, if followed, goes to Alstonefield.

We are now part the way down Gipsy Bank looking down on two more people on their way up with the bridge easily visible and the stepping stones partly hidden by the V-shapped dead tree.

Nearly back to the bridge Amanda took this sneaky picture of me, from my best side, heading for the safety of the bridge. That large black camera bag goes everywhere with me and, no, it isn't light.
You can see part of the stepping stones in the bottom right corner of the picture.

Our final view of Wolfscote Dale as it heads towards Milldale and Dovedale further down stream. There is another river crossing point here which also leads to Alstonefield.
At this point we turned up an un-named dale by Iron Tors heading for the Tissington Trail about a mile to the north.
