The fine ornate stone design above the entrance to the Canterbury Cathedral matches the design of a Triptych that I have purchased and I believe that my Triptych was made at time of the rebuilding of the Canterbury Cathedral from 1070-1077.
Does anyone know what this special architecturall detail is called specifically?
