Comment about the Granary Barn, Flatford, Suffolk
Hubby booked two nights at this B&B as my birthday surprise. I can honestly say it is pure heaven. If you love Wildlife, peace and quiet, then you will love this.
The rooms are not luxurious, but they are certainly very pleasant. There is a fridge with Milk, butter, yoghurt, cheese etc and tea/coffe making facilities. You have a continental type breakfast which is delivered to your room the night before. There is a breakfast table and chairs in your room and you can munch breakfast either in the privacy of your own room or at one of the picnic tables in the garden by the river. Any left overs are grealy accepted by the many Ducks who quickly make friends with you!
One of the best things was to be able to stroll around Flatford Mill, when everybody had gone home. We also hired out a rowing boat from the B&B owner and were the only people on the river! I can really recommend this b&b it really is lovely.
