Comment about the day trip to Lewes, Sussex
Stumbled across your website this morning and took the plunge and headed to Lewes, was totally impressed and thoroughly enjoyed the late morning, early afternoon there. A fantastic town to explore on a sunny day - what a magical town and what lovely people.

We live in Eastbourne and all trains to Eastbourne go via Lewes so no need to go to Brighton and definitely no need to change at Brighton for Lewes. Enjoy the day out!

Did this last spring-was an easy train trip out of London to Lewes-saw everything! The gardens at Southover were spectacular, the castle, interesting. The Priory, Anne of Cleves house, etc........a wonderful destination!!
