Today we saw the tree sculpture, and the lady sculptor was cleaning it etc., and we asked her about it, as there was no information around. She was very interesting. She also said that the school children of local schools had helped in the designing etc. It would have been great for the children involved if they had some recognition too, especially with being local. We have been round the walls of the castle, and the brass notices and information all around are wonderful and very informative. The sculpture could do with the same notices etc. We have looked all round the castle. . . not all on the same day, so much to take in. All your staff very informative, but please, recognition for the lady sculptor and her young historians who helped! I did leave a request on one of your request cards out of the cafe, but perhaps not very clear writing!!! Thank you.
