Back in 1760 The Town of Ramsgate was known as The Prince of Denmark. My 5 x great grandfather Magnus Ohren described himself as "The keeper of the Prince of Denmarks Head Public House at Wapping Old Stairs" during a trial at the Old Bailey on 10 Sept 1760 following a theft.
