Comment about a steam train on Rannoch Moor (2)

B1Locomotive 61264 did not spend it's working life in Scotland. In fact, when new it was sent to Harwich, Parkeston Quay shed and ended up supplying steam to heat carriages before being sent for scrap to South Wales from where it was saved for preservation. Only two out of a class of over 400 similar engines survive.
