Comment about Ye Olde Black Bear, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

I have done considerable reseaarch on the history of Tewkesbury licensed premises and in no other place have I ever found any reference to the playwright William Shakespeare having visited Tewkesbury, let alone having performed at the Black Bear.
