Re; The God Begot Hotel as it was known when I worked there 41 years ago. It was a high class hotel and restuarant which boasted clients such as Sir John Barboelli , Mick Jagger and Marienne Faithful I have the honour of saying that I cooked cabbage for Mick Jagger! All the staff ,including myself, were convinced it had a ghost! The waiters who had their station off the restaurant upstairs would hear footsteps going up to the staff quarters , and on investigation, no one was there. I used to to live in, and one night as I was going off to sleep, heard someone breathing in my ear. I always slept with a candle burning after that. Having never experienced anything like that since I am sure their were ghostly going ons. These are just a few unexplained experiences that happened there.
