Tower Archway Roof, Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Dedham, Essex, England, Great Britain
Dedham, Essex.

Roof of the tower archway, St. Mary's Church.

The Tudor rose which occurs in this pattern is evidence of the Tudor origins of this church. It also features the Beaufort portcullis and Thomas Webbes trademark.

The tower, at 131 feet high, is an independent structure attached to the west end on piers, with this archway through it's base.
