It shows the positions of Maldon on the left, with Bradwell-on-Sea and St. Peter's Chapel on the right. The River Blackwater is rather obvious, being over a mile wide in places, leading out into the North Sea on the extreme right of the picture. The detail is better seen in the larger picture. |
