The Walk to Shinglehead Point, Tollesbury, Essex, England

×

Tollesbury, Essex
A similar view to that of the previous picture but with a high spring tide. The channels through the salmarsh are now filled with water.
When the high tide comes into the saltmarshes the water forms a lot of lagoons of various sizes. I saw Brent geese and Widgeon swimming in these lagoons together with one immature Bewick swan.
