There are car parking spaces at the side of the B6054 just over a mile out of Froggatt, going north, and the footpath starts just downhill from these. This path traverses three edges, Froggatt Edge, Curbar Edge and Baslow Edge which are really the same feature with different names given to different sections.

The total length of the edges is about 3 miles and is an easy walk on a nice day with wonderful views.

This shows the generally wide easy path on top of the edge with the edge on the left.

There is a stone circle, about 40 feet in diameter, a little back from the edge but it can be difficult to find if the bracken is long. Don't expect stonehenge; the stones are relatively small but it is very old.

If you have an interest in stone circles you may find this Henge site of interest.
