Glen Moidart

×
Loch Moidart.
This is the sea loch at the western end of Glen Moidart and is fed by the River Moidart which flows through Glen Moidart to meet the loch at Kinlochmoidart. The island of Eilean Shona almost fills the mouth of the loch as it widens and Castle Tioram is situated in the outer reaches of this loch.

The River Moidart.
This spot, which is about a mile and a quarter up the glen from Ardmolich on the A861, is in the lower part of Glen Moidart and there is space to park nearby.

Glen Moidart.
This is further into the glen than the previous picture and is looking towards the lake from the site of some ruined buildings.
