Hidcote Manor Gardens (9), Chipping Campden, Gloucestershire, England

The name of the Pillar Garden is obviously based on the Yew topiary although there are plenty of flowering plants around the Yew pillars. This area can be very colourful at some times of the year although not particularly so when we were there in May.

The Red Border so called because, well, it's red. The effect is attained by using red flowers and plants with red leaves.

Just when you think you've covered just about everything you pop across the Theatre Lawn and discover a whole new section which includes the Lily Pool.
There are goldfish in this pool which you should be able to see on the right-hand side.
