The 16th Century altar screen (reredos) at the end of the Quire together with the high altar.
Although the screen is 16th Centuary the staues are Victorian. The originals were removed on the orders of Henry VIII to be used as building stone. Some of the mortuary chests are visible on top of the side screens.

Tombs and Medieval floor tiles.
This is the largest area of Medieval tiles, dating from 1240-1300, in Britain. The undulations in this area of floor gives some idea of how much movement there has been in the foundations. You can't see it in the picture but you will certainly notice it when you walk across the floor.
