More Information about Lincoln Cathedral Lincolnshire, England

A magnificent and imposing cathedral and a visit is certainly worthwhile. There is an entry charge but there is no extra charge for photography. There is an information desk inside manned by volunteers to whom you may direct questions and there are scheduled tours at set times which are free at the time of writing.

Have a walk around the cathedral close, either before or after going into the cathedral, as it is interesting in its own right. You can get some good views of the cathedral and see some of the interesting structural features.

The cathedral has a self-service refectory on the north-east corner of the cloisters which can be entered without charge from the outside by the Chapter House and that gives free access to both the Cloisters and the Chapter House.

There is also a cathedral shop near the West Front.

For more information see the cathedral's web site.
