The Old Market, Covent Garden, London

A view of St. Paul's Church, built in 1631, seen through Inigo Place, an oasis of green in a very busy area.
The path goes past either side of the church into the Covent Garden Piazza.

The old Covent Garden market buildings seen across the Covent Garden Piazza. The building to the left of the central building is the Apple Market, with stalls selling antiques, jewellery, clothing and gifts, and the building to the right is the Jubilee Hall.

This is the eastern part of the Covent Garden Piazza with some open air cafes and in the far corner of this side of the Piazza is the London Transport Museum.

The lower level of the Jubilee Hall with surrounding shops. There are often street performers here - the lady in black standing on the left was singing operatic arias and doing it remarkably well.
There are also some cafes here including one serving portions from a gigantic dish of Paella which appeared to be very popular.
