After we left the Kyoto Garden and were nearing the more formal gardens I spotted this among the trees. It turn out to be a sculpture called 'Annunciation' by Andrew Burton.

We saw this attractive sundial in the formal gardens and remember, if you read the time from it, that it's always on Greenwich Mean Time and will appear to be an hour slow in the summer months.

There are numerous formal plant beds in this area. The flowers in these beds were all tulips - very pretty and very colourful. I imagine that at other times of the year there will be different flowers.

It's amazing what one can find in a bed of tulips. Yes it's a peacock and it appears that Holland Park is the only London park with peafowl. Before we found this one we could certainly hear them calling and later spotted one perched high in a tree.
