Just outside the Desert Zone entrance of the Princess of Wales Conservatory is this arid, but rather attractive, looking scene.

The Secluded Garden, Kew Gardens, London, England, Great Britain
Kew Gardens, London.

Not far from the Desert Zone entrance of the Princess of Wales Conservatory is the Secluded garden. The Secluded Garden was created in 1995 by garden designer Anthea Gibson, with the aim of using plants to stimulate sight, smell, touch and hearing.

This shows the main entrance.

At the heart of the garden is this circular seating area bounded by pleached lime trees with a spiralling slate water feature "7 Slate Towers" designed by Daniel Harvey at its centre.

Kew Gardens, London.

Also near the Princess of Wales Conservatory is this tranquil walled garden - the Duke's Garden. The Duke's Garden was formerly the private garden for Cambridge Cottage but in 1904 became part of Kew Gardens.
