At the time of writing (2022) there are eight car parks in Abergavenny and all except one are Pay & Display i.e.chargeable. The exception is Byefield Lane Car Park (Long Stay) which is free except on a Tuesday. Byefield Lane Car Park is very large and very popular, for obvious reasons, and there are a lot of people looking for free parking in Abergavenny so you will probably have to hunt for a space.

Some are Short Stay which means a maximum parking time of four hours and some are Long Stay which means that you can stay for a whole day or more.
