Not long after leaving the car park we met this very friendly pheasant and it promptly attached itself to us and walked with us for quite a way. It was probably hoping that we might provide food but eventually decided it was wasting its time.

After leaving the pheasant we continued up to the brow of a hill and were met with this view. We obviously have a way to go to reach the waterfall but it looked fairly impressive from here.

We had walked quite a bit further when we came upon this bridge which enabled us to cross the river and we could see that we weren't very far now from the waterfall.

Not long after crossing the river we arrived at the picnic bench with a view of the waterfall. Just a short way on took us to the foot of the falls and the water was making quite a lot of noise and it was very impressive.

We reached the foot of the falls and stopped awhile to watch the water then set off back via the forest track rather than the path we followed to get here for no particular reason other than it made a change.
