The original Norman bridge which still gives access to the Keep.

One of the castle tours on offer is a tour of the battlements which is where this view of the church of St. Peter Mancroft was taken. The large building, immediately behind the church, with the rounded glass roof is the Forum.
The Forum houses the Norfolk and Norwich Millenium Library and the Tourist Information Centre among other services.

St. Peter Mancroft church (the large one on the left), the Guildhall (near the right of the picture and rather dwarved by 'The Monstrosity' in the centre), the Market (immediately in front of the pillars of 'The Monstrosity'), the Forum (behind St. Peter Mancroft Church) and the Roman Catholic Cathedral (beyond 'The Monstrosity) all seen from the castle battlements.
'The Monstrosity' (my term for it) is City Hall built in the 1930s. I shall say no more!
