Parking Information about Norwich, Norfolk, England
I think that the first thing you need to know if you want to park within the city is that Norwich Corporation is out to get your money and lots of it. You will pay where ever and whenever you park, even on Sundays and Bank Holidays, and for 24 hours a day. Charges tend to increase exponetially the longer you stay up to a maximum of £15.00 for 5 hours or more.
Norwich Corporation do provide good details of where the car parks are situated and a list of appropriate charges.
There is also a Park & Ride system which is run by the Passenger Transport Unit of Norfolk County Council and not by Norwich Corporation. This is much better value especially for a family as the charge for parking is per car, not per person, and the car's occupants then travel on the bus free. There are maps of each individual site's location and a map showing the location of all sites but that requires you to have Macromedia Flash installed which is a bad move. Not everyone has, or wants, Flash on their computer even if it is free - PDF would have been a better choice.
