Looking slightly west of north, from the top of the Keep, the River Teme can be seen far below as it skirts the castle on it's western side.

Looking slightly south of west, from the top of the Keep, Dinham Bridge can be seen crossing the River Teme. The tower on the extreme left is Mortimer's Tower.

We are looking due north here over the North Range showing the Solar Wing on the left, the Great Hall on the right and on the extreme right is the Garderobe Tower. The broad entrance stairway to the Great Hall can be seen in the right half of the picture.

The high ground in the distance is the Long Mynd and Wenlock Edge.
