Marlborough (4), Wiltshire

Marlborough.
The 15th Century St. Peter's church sits at the end of the High Street opposite to that of St. Mary's Church having managed to escape being damaged by the great fire of 1653. It is, unfortunately, now redundant and has been converted into an arts and crafts shop and cafe where exhibitions and concerts are sometimes held. It is possible to climb the tower on some days or by arrangement.
