Salisbury Cathedral (3), Wiltshire

Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire.
Outside view of the Cloisters.
The Cloisters in Salisbury Cathedral are the largest of any in Britain and are unusual in that they have never been part of a monastic foundation which is usually the case.

Salisbury Cathedral, Wiltshire.
These cloisters have a rather plain interior when compared with cloisters in some other British cathedrals.
In these cloisters is to be found the entrance to the Chapter House which houses one of the original versions of Magna Carta. Photography is not permitted in the Chapter House which is why we don't include a photograph of it.
