Fort William, on the edge of Loch Eil, and part of the Caledonian Canal can be seen in the top left quadrant of the image. The lower part of Loch Eil and the Caledonian Canal lie on the line of the Great Glen Fault.

Ben Nevis is near the centre of the image with Glen Nevis to it's left.
