Tarr Steps - a pedestrian's view. Some of these top slabs have been washed away in extreme conditions
although they don't go very far. They have all been numbered to facilitate replacement.
The building seen through the trees is the pub where we had lunch. Service was slow and the staff indifferent although the food was quite good. There are no other sources of refreshment nearby.
