Autumn 2
This post is an adjunct to the previous post prompted by Annecyborn's comment.
She suggested that from autumn the next colour stage might be white. This must be what she meant. 
With regard to the Rowan here is a small tree in summer with red berries.

The Rowan tree is really lovely, it would stop me in my tracks on a hike.
Okay, a white mushroom, but it is still surrounded by green.
