There are a number of narrow alleyways in Sandwich of which Holy Ghost Alley is but one.

It isn't really very long, running as it does from St. Peter's Street to High Street, so we couldn't resist exploring this one.

Step through the entrance arch into the covered part and one can see the alley disappear around the far bend.

Here we are approaching the dog leg where the alley kinks left then right.

Finally we approach the High Street end of the alley with Amanda showing just how narrow the alley is in this part. Two people could pass only by turning sideways and sidling past each other.
