This is High Bridge from the west. Looking beyond the narrow boat through the arch have you ever seen so many swans?

There are steps up to street level on both sides of the river but the steps on the left are wide enough for only one person.

This is Waterside; a new development but attractive all the same. There are a great variety of shops around here together with an undercover market. High Bridge is visible in the distance.

The Witch and Wardrobe, as you might guess from the name, is a relatively new pub but the building isn't new as it dates from the 14th century. The building has had many different uses over the centuries and only became a pub in 1970.
