Kenwood House (2), Hampstead Heath, London, England

Kenwood House, Hampstead, London
At the Thousand Pound Pond you can't fail to notice this delightful bridge, built around 1755, in the grounds of Kenwood House. Perhaps you'd like to walk over it? Unfortunately you would be out of luck, not because you are prohibited from using it, but because there is nothing there to use. See the picture below.

Kenwood House, Hampstead, London
The bridge is actually a fake consisting of just a wooden facade as you can see from this view of the back. It is, as perhaps you can see, made from wood with the bridge facade painted on it and, yes, it has been there since 1755.
