Porlock Weir Harbour, Somerset, England

×
Porlock.
Inside the lock gates, looking towards the lock, at Porlock Weir.
Although this was once a working harbour the gates are now used mainly to flush pebbles from the harbour entrance.
The sea is over the shingle bar to the left.

Porlock.
A tranquil evening at Porlock Weir.
With the sea like a mirror it is hard to believe that this is actually the coast.
If it wasn't for the hill it would be difficult to see where the sea stops and where the sky begins.
