Near the top of Catherine Hill, on the south side, is Sheppards Barton. This attractive little street is accessed via an archway and some steps and could be easily missed.

Part the way up Catherine Hill, on the south side, is the junction with Paul Street. Paul Street is quite narrow, for pedestrians only and curves round into Palmer Street.
