This is the 'Dormitory' formed by a 16th Century floor insertion above the Dining Room. In the 14th Century this Hall with its crown post roof would have been a single space. The roof structure is clearly evident here and the Crown Post can be seen in the top right-hand corner.

The Study, 'the room with eleven doors'. The Gayer-Anderson twins who restored this house in the 1930s filled and decorated it with an extensive collection of art and artefacts collected from around the world.
This shows part of the room with some of the oriental panels. The other walls and doors are entirely covered with similar panels.
