The Coast between Whitesands and Porthstinian (St. Justinian), Pembrokeshire, Wales

Looking out along a small headland on the east side of Porthmelgan Bay from the coast path. After this the path, continuing to the right, goes down into the inlet of Porthmelgan Bay and up the other side.
Ramsey Island can be seen on the horizon.

Having descended from the headland we decided to have a quick look at Porthmelgan Bay.

Further along the path we look back at Porthmelgan Bay with a good show of Bell Heather in the foreground and a small piece of the coast path showing in the bottom right corner.
The path coming down to Porthmelgan Bay from the previous headland is better seen in the larger view.

We finally arrive at St. David's Head. The coast path doesn't go right to the tip of the headland but there is nothing to stop you from walking out there.
We had a wander round here and were lucky enough to see some Choughs. These are members of the Crow family but are rather rare in Britain. They are black with a red beak and red legs.
