The Art of Wool Making
We went for a three and a half mile walk this afternoon and I took a few photographs which turned out to be appropriate to my previous post and my remark about knitting.
First choose your wool.
Then decide what colour you’d like it to be.
Next you’ll need a large vat in which to dye the wool.
That’s just the job.
So I’m all set. All I need to do now is catch my wool – I may be some time.

Come on! Sheep are easy to catch.
Start out with something easy. I could use a nice scarf.

Can you tell the world, please, EXACTLY how many sheep you have personally caught?

Now, there are not too many sheep around where I live. HOWEVER, while strolling along many a meadow in England and Wales, I have petted a few of them.
This tells me that if I really wanted to……. Since they would not fit in my suitcase, I refrained from taking any.
If it helps, I have spun wool into yarn. The natural lanolin is wonderful for your hands.

Right! So the short answer is none, zero, nada, zilch.
So if you’ll excuse me I have a sheep to catch.
P.S. You need a larger suitcase.

I got room in my suitcase
Start knitting. I will be there in less than 4 weeks.
