A well decorated footpath
In 5 days we will have been living here for 1 year. Near our house there is a footpath running from one road up to a higher road and this year there have appeared a lot of Crocuses along the edge which we either hadn't seen last year or hadn't noticed although I don't think we could have missed them if they'd been there.
They aren't wild but still very pretty. There is a garden at the top of the wall which cannot be seen in the picture and that has lots of similar Crocuses so I expect that they have seeded onto the footpath. It's very nice to have some bright colour showing after winter.
Spring is on its way. Whoo Hoo!

No flowers here yet
Its unusually warm the last few days, 50’sF. But, that will change. Still snow on the ground. We have 4-5 whitetail deer that have been bedding down behind our house. Couple will lay there and watch us moving around in the house! I got several good photos and posted them on Facebook.

The temperature today was about 58F but the temperature is forecast to be lower next week. We have seen hardly any snow so far this winter and no deer.

It’s 6:30AM Tuesday morning and we have 38F and light rain. Actually light rain most of the night. Forecast, for whatever that’s worth, is Friday high of 33F with a “major” snow storm expected.
With Easter being late, maybe we’ll have spring by then?

2 weeks ago we had 15 inches of snow, the past 5 days it has been in the 50s and 60s. My early crocuses and snow drops are up. The flowers certainly help brighten our moods.
