Spring? Who’s kidding who?
If you are a meteorologist then you will regard today as the first day of Spring. Last night was the coldest it's been here this winter at 19F, the temperature is forecast to stay lower than freezing point today, it's snowing here and it's supposed to be worse tomorrow. Spring? Ha!
I don't know when we'll make our next trip but perhaps we should consider buying some reindeer and a sleigh. 
3rd March 2018 update:
We now have about a foot of snow here and the temperature has been below freezing for the last 3 days. Spring? Not a chance!

March 1 – 60F
Took day off and went for a long walk outside – no jacket!! and then had my lunch outside. but the next 2 days will be rain and more rain with coastal flooding. I will take rain over that white stuff.

March 13 – we are in the middle of the third massive storm this month! The prediction is 12-16 inches of snow. Spring is suppose to start next week.

March 13 – All our snow has now gone. The temperature outside is 51 F but it doesn’t mean it’s going to stay that way.

April 2 – snowing here AGAIN. We have had weather in the 50s most of last week. I put the snow shovel, snow brush, and snow boots away. 3 more weeks and I leave for England – here’s hoping you are done with the snow.

Funny you should say that – we had more snow last night. It was only about an inch but now, 6:30 PM, it has all gone. It is supposed to be a little warmer from now on.
